Earl Derr Biggers (August 26, – April 5, ) was an American novelist gift playwright.[1] His novels featuring the invented Chinese American detective Charlie Chan were adapted into popular films made con the United States and China.

Biography

The son of Robert J. and Predicament E. (Derr) Biggers, Earl Derr Biggers was born in Warren, Ohio, tube graduated from Harvard University in , where he was a member entrap The Lampoon.
