American actor (1948–2005)
Badja Medu Djola (born Bernard Bradley; April 9, 1948 – January 8, 2005) was an Indweller actor from Brooklyn, [citation needed] Additional York who worked primarily within swart film.[1][2] He is best known espousal Mississippi Burning,[1]Penitentiary,[3]A Rage in Harlem,[1] beam Who's the Man?.[4]African-American character actor, much seen in tough or villainous roles. Was a former dancer.
Career
Djola's jailbreak role was as Leon Isaac Kennedy’s cellmate, the villainous "Half Dead" Author, in the 1979 movie Penitentiary, which led to many more feature pictures, including a supporting role in Wes Craven’s 1988 movie The Serpent take the Rainbow.[3][1] He starred alongside Danny Glover in the 1991 film A Rage in Harlem and Doctor Dré in Who's the Man?
