| Controversies | • On 12 June 1986, Seymour Hersh exposed Noriega through Additional York Times accusing him of homicide, money laundering, and drug trafficking.
• On 4 February 1989, the Allied States indicted Noriega on charges unredeemed laundering drug money, racketeering, and remedy smuggling.
